Morgan Jeranyama is the Former Executive Director at Non State Actors Forum.He is a sociologist and a doctor of international law peace leadership and governance. He also holds masters in business administration from Africa University. Dr.Jeranyama has acquired vast experiences during the twenty one years of working with both the public and private sectors. His experience has been in community development, micro-enterprise rural activities, institutional and organizational development, decentralized co-operation and civil society capacity building and socioeconomic justice. He has implemented several community based projects in Manicaland province under the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD) Manicaland Chapter and has worked tirelessly with Civil Society to promote good governance in Zimbabwe

DR. Hazel Kwaramba

Dr H.M. Kwaramba is a researcher and a PHD holder from the University of Twente, Centre for studies in technology and sustainable development. She has worked as a research assistant at Manchester Metropolitan University. Hazel is a resource based management specialist with a passion for promoting women participation in local economic developments as a poverty reduction mechanism. She has published various sustainable development papers and reports internationally. She is the Rural Economic Development Advisor at Rural Electrification Agency (REA) in Zimbabwe.

Rev T.Lloyd Nyarota

Rev Nyarota is a PHD candidate and a holder of a master’s degree in peace and governance from Africa University. He is the program director of Chabadza Community Development programme of the United Methodist Church, a Zimbabwe Episcopal Area –Norway Partnership programme. This project responds to the community needs from health to education and provides an opportunity for close interaction between the community and the church.Rev Nyarota has played an instrumental role in this project formulation and development at the United Methodist Church in Mutare.

Mr. Mupfumi is the Director for CRD.He is a holder of a master’s degree in peace and governance from Africa University. He is a founding member of both the Civic Alliance for democracy and good governance (CADEGO) and Center for Research and Development( CRD).Mr Mupfumi has worked extensively in research at community level as a programme Manager at CRD from 2007 to 2012..He successfully implemented the human rights program in Marange in 2009 which saw CRD unearthing gross human rights violations in the mining of Marange diamonds.Mr Mupfumi has represented CRD on different platforms where he advocated for transparency and accountability in the governance of natural resources in Zimbabwe.Mr Mupfumi has successfully facilitated the formation of Community based Organizations (CBOs) in Chimanimani and Penhalonga and is currently working with them in mobilizing resources for communities to access and benefit from natural resources that are being exploited in their locality.

Chida Mudadi is the new programmes officer for CRD.He holds a masters degree in peace and governance from Africa University and has remarkable professional experience in development work in Zimbabwe. He has worked as a monitoring and evaluation officer at GOAL Zimbabwe and was a project officer at Non State Actors Forum for 3years.He has worked with several organizations like Zimbabwe Development Communities Programme,Batsiranai Children’s home and Credit against Poverty where his fundamental role was to provide leadership in project design, formulation and management at community level.

Patince is our gender officer she holds an Honours Degreein History and International studies and she is motivated in lifting the living standards of marginalised women in rural communities.She is working with women's groups in Penhalonga and Chimanimani on women's rights to empowerment and sustainable management of the environment.

Mr. Chimonyo holds a masters degree in physical geography from the University of Wales Lampeter and he is a senior lecturer at Africa University in the faculty of Humanities. He has vast experiences in research on Environmental Management and Economics, Rural Surveys and Research, Environmental Hazards, Agriculture and the Environment, Quantitative Analysis, and Environmental Impact Assessment. Ongoing research, “Mountain Ecosystem Research” with emphasis on environmental change.
